Specters of the Erie Cut were born one night during a walk back to Silent Stereo in Jersey City. After hearing stories of Karen Peterson's exploration of what's left of the historic Bergen Arches it became apparent that if a band were to have the same amount of syllables in their name as Huey Lewis & the News then maybe their records would have a chance to sell as many copies as, "Sports."
